Lori Warwick – President
Lori started brewing 8 years ago with her husband Paul. What started as a hobby for Paul, Lori soon became interested in the process and developing recipes. A club member for 5 years and board member for the past 4, Lori has helped organize club events including the annual Sunshine Challenge and looks forward to a successful 2021!
Jim Gilson – Vice President Ales
Jim first became interested in brewing around 1997 with a focus on Mead. After several years of Mead making he started brewing ales with an interest in session beers such as English brown ales. Initially going old school brewing on the stove top and then upgrading to large coolers for mash tuns and steel wort tuns and propane burners. Jim has been a member of the Central Florida Home Brewers club for over 20 years and has served on the CFHB board many times, holding all positions except the treasurer. Currently semi-retired we are pleased that Jim is able to once again serve on the CFHB Board again.
Matt Hunsworth – Vice President Lagers
Matt started brewing 6 years ago out of an interest of simply learning how the process works. After jumping head first into the hobby, Matt has studied various methods, processes and systems to broaden his brewing knowledge. As part as learning the finer points of every beer style, Matt recently passed his BJCP tasting exam, becoming a BJCP Recognized judge. Matt joined the club just over 2 years ago and is happy to be part of the current executive committee, with a focus of helping to grow and expand the club over this next year.
Paul Warwick – Treasurer
Paul also started brewing 8 years ago and that interest was quickly adopted by his wife Lori. Both joined CFHB in 2013 in order to learn more about brewing. Paul has also been the Club Treasurer for 3 years and had taken on the secretary duties in 2020. Paul returns to the roll of treasurer for 2021.
John Kinloch
John Kinloch – Secretary
John is has been with the CFHB for 6 years now, serving on the board as VP of Lagers as well as on the Sunshine Challenge Committees. His leadership skills and past board experience in other areas made him a natural for our team. An accomplished crafter of meads, Johns also enjoys Reds and Oktoberfest beer styles.
